The Barangay Performance Index (BPI) is an online tool developed by DILG Ramon Magsaysay Field Office to monitor and track the performance of the 27 barangays based on their compliance to national laws and DILG policies.
Why use BPI?
BPI provides a way to visualize and follow the progress of barangays in achieving their perfomance goals.
It includes:
- data collection involving barangays submitting reports and BBI Functionality
- comparison of performance of the barangays using Ranking System
- visualization to display the performance of barangays
Who can use BPI?
- LGUs: to oversee the performance of component barangays
- Barangay Officials: to use the tracker to monitor their own performance & identify areas where they need to focus their efforts
- General Public: public can engage in community discussion related to barangay planning and development, providing feedback and input on performances
